It is sometimes hard to tell if the traffic to a site is increasing or decreasing
because of the day-to-day fluxuations and from the differences in weekend and weekday traffic.
A moving average chart helps smooths out those differences to see if the trend is moving up or down.
Each day in the chart is calculated by taking the average number of visitors over the previous 7 and 30 days.
